‘Standstill’ is a collection of more reflective works portraying a personal navigation through the COVID-19 pandemic. After the world came to a sudden standstill, these 5 tracks vaguely follow a timeline of the changing climate surrounding the journey, attempting to gauge the general feeling in the air from the constraints of lockdown. It tackles confusion, bereavement, despair, hope and eventually the lucidity of a return to normality. It is ultimately an attempt to pen this unique occurrence from enforced solitariness, a time when we could contemplate the complexities of life and our role in the world around us.
